  • HOW TO ENTER
  • The “Win a Disney Cruise to Paradise” giveaway (the “Contest) will run weekdays, beginning on Monday, January 21st, 2008 at 6:00AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ending on Friday, February 1st, 2008 at 7:00PM ET.
  • To participate in the Contest, you must listen to 101.1 WCBS-FM (the “Station”) Monday through Friday from 6:00AM to 7:00PM ET during the Contest dates for your chance to win when the Station plays the “Getaway Song of the Day.”  The “Getaway Song of the Day” will be announced on air, and played once during the day.  The song of the day will change each day, and will also be announced to “Good Vibrations” members after its announcement on-air each day via a posting an email or text message.  In order to become a Good Vibrations member, all you need to do is log on to www.wcbsfm.com and click on the link for Good Vibrations, and create a user name and password. 

Contestants must listen for the Getaway Song of the Day and be the (eleventh) 11th caller to complete their call to the Station.  On-air winners, pending verification of eligibility, must be the correct number caller, and call after the correct song of the day has been played in its entirety.  Caller must place call to 800-367-1101, and must provide their first and last name, complete address including zip code, email address, telephone number, and date of birth. 

  • The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call. 
  • There is no limit to the number of times a listener can try to call in and win.  A listener may only win one prize during the Contest, and only one winner per household can win during the run of the Contest.
  • ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
  • The contest is open to all persons who are 21 years of age or older and who reside in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.  Employees of WCBS-FM, NJ, Disney, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the New York metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
  • Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest every 30 days.  For prizes exceeding $600, winners are restricted from winning for 90 days.
  • PRIZES
  1. Ten (10) Disney Cruise Line vacations will be awarded.  Each vacation is for up to four (4) persons to be taken aboard the Disney Wonder®.  Each four (4) night Prize Vacation includes the following: Four (4) night cruise aboard the Disney Wonder to The Bahamas, including Nassau and Castaway Cay®, One (1) deluxe ocean view (Category 9) stateroom with a maximum occupancy of four (4) people, all onboard meals, Government Taxes and Fees (as defined in the Disney Cruise Line brochure), all onboard gratuities for contest winner and three guests (For stateroom host/hostess; dining room server, assistant server, head server), round-trip coach airfare for four (4) between New York and Orlando International airport, and ground transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral and back to Orlando International Airport via Disney Cruise Line transportation.
  • Approximate Retail Value of each prize:  The estimated retail value of each Vacation Prize is $3,808.92 which includes Government Taxes and Fees.  The aggregate value of all prizes to be awarded is $38,089.20.
  • Prize Vacation must be booked at least forty-five (45) days prior to intended travel dates and must be taken prior to December 21, 2008 aboard the Disney Wonder (at the discretion of Disney Cruise Vacations©).  Vacation is for the winner and up to three (3) guests of the winner’s choosing.  Minors under the age of 18 not traveling with a parent or legal guardian must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 in the same stateroom.  The parent or guardian of any minor not traveling with a parent or guardian must appoint an adult to have custody and control over their minor and to contract on their behalf in connection with the Disney Cruise Line vacation.  An appointment form will be included in the document package and must be signed by parent or legal guardian prior to embarkation at the Disney Cruise Line terminal.  Vacation fulfillment is subject to availability and restrictions at Disney Cruise Line and airline seat availability.  Travel may not occur during cruise ship or airline blackout periods.  All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change based on availability.  Any portion of  a prize not accepted by winner will be forfeited.
  • Cruise ship blackout dates are as follows and subject to change.  2008: 02/21 – 02/24; 03/13 – 04/02; 05/22 – 08/24; 11/23 – 12/03. 
  • Each vacation is expressly limited to the items listed above and does not include any other expenses.  All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein (including but not limited to shore excursions, laundry service, spa treatments, alcoholic beverages, local and long distance telephone calls, ship to shore communications, personal charges, additional meals, tips, gratuities, any additional costs charged to the room, income and other taxes, and other incidental expenses) are solely the responsibility of the Winners.  Other restrictions may apply.  No travel extensions permitted.  Each Winner and their guests must travel on the same travel itinerary.  Winners and their guests are solely responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all forms of insurance) where applicable, at their option.  Prize Vacations may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded, commissioned or redeemed for cash value.  Vacation elements may not be substituted and vacations are non-commissionable.  Winner and guests are responsible for providing proper citizenship documentation to travel which may include passports, valid alien registration card and/or necessary visas.  Those without proper citizenship documentation will be denied boarding.  It is the Winners’ and guests’ responsibilities to check with their travel agent, government agencies, embassies or consulates prior to their vacation to ensure that they have proper citizenship documentation.  U.S. Citizens can also visit the State Department’s travel website at www.travel.state.gov, or call the U.S. National Passport Information Center at (877) 4USA-PPT for more information.  Winners and Guests of all ages are strongly encouraged to obtain passports.  Actual final retail value of trip may be higher or lower based on departure.  Prize elements may be subject to additional restrictions. 
  • WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
  • Decisions of Station management with respect to the contest are final.
  • Ten (10) winners will be selected throughout the run of the Contest as described in section 1(b) of these official contest rules.  From Monday to Friday, beginning on Monday January 21, 2008 ET and ending on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 7:00PM ET there will be one winner selected each weekday, resulting in a total of ten (10) winners for the two (2) week Contest.  Contestants must listen for the song of the day, and be the correct number caller in order to win.
  • THE ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF phone calls.  Winners must listen to win.
  • Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing.
  • CONDITIONS
  • Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
  • By participating in the Contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 
  • Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel guests, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
  • The Station, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules.  It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
  • The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
  • Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
  • The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
  • Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WCBS-FM 1515 Broadway, New York, NY 10036.
