Beatles cover band The Fab Faux had two performances at The State Theatre on November 17, 2007. The client had a limited budget and wanted to access our online audience to maximize ticket sales. To the end, we created the "Online Triple Play" to accentuate their on-air advertising campaign. The triple play consisted of ROS banners in all sizes, a pre-roll ad placement and streaming spots. Two weeks before the performance, this online campaign launched and ran to the day of the show. Both performances by the band sold-out and the client is looking to utilize the -Online Triple Play" for future performances

A Roadblock Can Be a Good Thing!
Client: Nintendo MarioKart

To promote the release of Mario Kart for Wii, the hottest gaming system in America Nintendo partnered with WCBS-FM to driver listeners to their local retail outlet to purchase the game. Additionally, Nintendo wanted to drive people to their Rockefeller Center location on Friday April 25, where listeners could test drive -Mario Kart" and purchase it right there. Beginning on Monday, 4/21, WCBS-FM put an ROS banner ad campaign into rotation. This ran through Thursday. On Friday, 4/25, the online effort went into high with Nintendo Mario Kart -roadblocking" the WCBS-FM website. This roadblock meant that EVERY ad unit on the WCBS-FM website’s homepage was a Nintendo Mario Kart ad unit. This takeover lasted 24 hours. The campaign was a bona-fide success and the client was ecstatic with the attendance at the store.
