The Dan Taylor Morning Show Weekdays 6-10AM

Dan’s been in radio since graduating High School in 1976,  and by the age of 20 was hired by WCBS-FM where he became the youngest radio personality on the New York City airwaves. Less than a year later he was hired away to do Country at WHN where he remained one of the top 10 afternoon drivetime dominators in the US.

Then Dan was hired at 66 WNBC and hosted a weekend oldies show and became the permanent fill in’ host for the Imus in the Morning’ program. Dan then joined Mix 105 where he again enjoyed a ratings success for nearly 7 years as afternoon host.

But the time was right to come full circle and he again joined the ranks of the station he started with, WCBS-FM. He remained there until the stations demise in 2005, but returns in it’s rebirth as our Morning Drive host.

A voice-over artist for many commercials, and promo voice for radio and TV stations across the US and Canada, he’s been working in NYC radio for nearly 30 years. Dan divides his time between being “on the air” to being “in the air” flying his vintage planes.  A commercially rated pilot, Dan has flown vintage aircraft in Great Britain and has traveled as far away as Australia, flying before 350,000 people at the Australian International Air show ‘Down Under’. He also enjoys public speaking about early aviation history, and directing school students about careers in broadcasting and aviation.
